Plant Sanitation Systems
Although food safety guidelines like HACCP have helped food producers implement effective preventative food safety protocols, they are still implemented manually and subject to error.
Our proprietary food sanitation technology provides you with an automatic daily food sanitation step that sanitizes every hard surface in your food plant. Our system runs on an electronic timer and produces a dense, penetrating fog for a predetermined amount of time (typically 45min-1hr) , which is made up of water diluted with a 2-5% mixture of our peroxygen based sanitizer called Sanidate.
Sanidate is an OMRI listed (for use in organic facilities) powerful oxidizer of human health pathogens and molds that leaves no detectable residues on your food surfaces after treatment. In fact, our system doesn’t even leave any residual moisture on your hard surfaces. This is due to our proprietary fogging technology that produces a consistently sized 4.2 micron sized droplet. At this small size, the droplets evaporate very quickly when the fogger stops producing fog. However, while the unit is fogging, these small droplets treat every surface and nook and cranny of your facility (essentially, anywhere air can flow). This includes the undersides of conveyor belts, the under surface of your ceiling, cable trays, light fixtures and more... making sure even all of those hard to reach areas get sanitized daily.
Since our system does not wet any surfaces, it is also an ideal food sanitation step for food facilities that “dry clean” their equipment.
What our system is not, is a “cure all” sanitizing step. Our system is to only be used as a secondary preventative sanitizing step in your already established food safety protocol. To prevent food safety issues, any accredited food safety auditor will tell you that it is always a good idea to have multiple preventative food safety steps in your protocol. This is why our technology is an excellent complimentary step to your already established, HACCP guided, food safety protocol.
To be called a sanitation step, each fogging system must be properly sized for the facility it is treating. In larger facilities, several foggers may be required to provide full coverage of all of your hard surfaces.
